Emilia Wrzesińska — painter, born and raised in Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki. She graduated from the Academy of Special Pedagogy in the field of artistic education in the field of fine arts.

Linked to education on a daily basis, she has been developing her passion for art for years, finding in painting a space for personal expression, creative freedom and reflection on human nature.

In his work, he combines inspirations from Art Nouveau, symbolism and pre-Raphaelite painting, gradually forming his own recognizable artistic language. Her paintings are distinguished by decorativeness, flowing, expressive lines, saturated colors and a wealth of symbolic references. Using the acrylic technique, he creates compositions balancing on the border of reality, myth and imagination.

At the center of her painterly stories is a man, especially a woman — a figure full of mystery, tenderness and inner strength. The artist takes up timeless themes of beauty, love, transience, spirituality and the inevitable passage of time. Reaching for mythological, plant and animal motifs, he gives them symbolic meanings, leaving the recipient space for individual interpretation.

For her, painting is not only a passion, but also a way of telling about what is difficult to express in words. Each picture becomes a separate story, in which the real world intersects with the imagined, and beauty coexists with a reflection on the fragility of human existence.

The exhibition “Between” is her exhibition debut and an important moment on her artistic journey — the first such significant step towards the public presentation of her work. It is an invitation to a world suspended between waking and sleeping, youth and transience, what is visible and what is hidden.
