Parisian saloons full of degraded diplomats and posers, lurking for 20 million in cash in the form of the whimsical and indecently wealthy widow Hanna Glavari. The heiress of a fortune after an old banker arrives with a seemingly sociable visit. However, the widow has a well-defined plan: to win back the old, unfulfilled love. The Count
Dnialo, an unruly, cynical and brilliant diplomat who has been living carpe diem for years, will clash with a perverse widow who is madly in love with him.
Hanna's visit will trigger a whole avalanche of intrigue. Diplomats will engage in all sorts of methods to keep the widow along with her fortune in the country. The captivating plot of the operetta unfolds in the company of a spinning waltz, timeless operetta hits and displays of prudish, Parisian teethers.
Art dripping with champagne and can-can, will leave the viewer in a great mood.
