Westside Cowboy

One of England's most hyped bands rides into Little VEGA

With an explosive mix of indie-rock guitar riffs, dusty Americana, and an irrepressible DIY attitude, the band has blown audiences ablaze on the international stages.

Westside Cowboy isn't just a band -- it's a vibe. A sense of standing in the middle of something unpredictable, where every note can tip the balance between chaos and control.

In January, the English tempo specialists released their second EP So Much Country 'Till We Get There. The EP is released on the legendary record label Island Records and received a myriad of praises from reviewers. The Skinny, among others, wrote in their scintillating review:

“So Much Country 'Till We Get There is barely 15 minutes long; it is scarcely believable how much promise they've packed into it. Believe the hype.”

With their self-invented britainicana genre, the band blends the best of British indie rock with American inspirations.

Their irresistible energy makes venues sizzle and their eclectic genre remix jibes with the cowboy hat of bands like Modest Mouse, Pavement, Built to Spill and newer names like Waxahatchee and MJ Lenderman.

NME has proclaimed the band as “the UK's most exciting forces” and with a sold-out headliner tour in their home country as well as magical appearances at festivals such as End of The Road and Glastonbury, the Manchester group are now ready to kick the guitar pedals at Little VEGA on November 5.
