On the beach by the sea, right next to the future nuclear power plant, two beings meet: the frightened Cell and the confident Atom. Their hilarious clash quickly turns into an adventurous tale of science, fear, fake news and... a radioactive potato.
In the rhythm of absurd humor, television “breaking news” and crazy visits by Maria Skłodowska-Curie and Albert Einstein, the characters discover how radioactivity really works and what nuclear power plants are for. And above all, they teach us that science does not bite if you know how to listen to it.
The science show combines spectacular effects, puppets, projections and slapstick with a solid portion of reliable knowledge. This is the first episode of the new educational series of our theater: “Take It Understand” - where we explain complicated matters with lightness, humor and a little madness.
We recommend participation in this performance to students from the 4th grade of primary school.

Sensory Condition Information/Sensitive Content Warning:
During the performance, visual effects such as stage smoke, strong and variable lighting, including flashing lights, as well as reflective effects that can cause temporary blinding are used. There are also plot elements that include the presence of weapons and bombs as stage props. The scenery and costumes contain exaggerated, unnatural characters, for example, large heads, which can be perceived as disturbing. The sound layer includes loud, sudden sounds and disturbing acoustic effects such as squeaks, noises and tension-building sounds. The performance can be particularly demanding for people sensitive to loud sounds and sudden stimuli, people with photosensitive epilepsy, as well as children and people sensitive to elements of horror and surrealism.
