WHO RUNS THE WORLD?

Is it the rich? The beautiful ones? The Illuminati? Or maybe it's even ourselves? WHO RUNS THE WORLD? is both an unruly theatrical experiment with nine premieres in nine weeks and a video-craving mission to reveal who really runs the world.

Four actors swirl around in nine separate episodes, each trying to answer an impossible question: Who really has the power? How do you get it? And what does it cost?

Each week, director Henrik Grimbäck draws a sketch with its own framework and rules. It's rock'n'roll theatre without the safety net with ultra-short rehearsal time. Scenography, costumes and action evolve from week to week, being created along the way and changing every night.

WHO RUNS THE WORLD? we think aloud together in a chaotic attempt to make sense of a world where power is constantly changing hands and where no one anymore quite knows who has it.

On stage, Nanna Cecilie Bang, Niels Ellegaard, Tobias Leander and Vigga Sidenius Guldhammer stand in a grand collective experiment about power, money and people.
