“Viennese Blood” by J. Strauss is one of the composer's most famous operettas, which invariably remains at the forefront of the world repertoire. Magnificent music, colorful costumes and original scenography make up the success of the operetta, which has accompanied it for years.

The action of “Viennese Blood” takes place during the “dancing congress” of 1815 in Vienna. The plot is based on love conquests, betrayals and romances that the elites of the time were engaged in. The frivolous operetta is filled with the greatest hits combining great music and the charm of Viennese salons. The libretto tells the story of Count Zedlau, whose wife, feeling “Viennese blood” shortly after the wedding, leaves her spouse and returns to Vienna. A single husband does not suffer long in solitude and quickly comforts himself with a beautiful dancer. The Countess, however, decides to return and taste the taste of marriage. As it happens in operettas, the spouses, as well as two other couples, take part in a comedy of mistakes and misunderstandings in order to find love at the side of the beloved in the finale.
