The Witcher Geralt of Rivia, also called the White Wolf, fights monsters that threaten humans. When he accidentally saves the lives of ruler Cintra Calanthe and her psychically gifted daughter Pavetta, the Queen gratefully takes him to her court. Geralt takes part in a feast during which Pavetta's marriage to one of the noble-born gentlemen is to be decided. The celebration is unexpectedly disrupted by the appearance of a steel-chained knight, calling himself the Hedgehog, who claims to have exclusive rights to the princess's hand. The film is an adaptation of the first two volumes of stories about the fate of the Witcher by Andrzej Sapkowski. The film will be presented in a restored version on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the premiere
