After her little brother is abducted by a swarm of crows, 12-year-old Prue embarks on an adventurous rescue mission into the “Impenetrable Wilderness” — an enchanted forest that hides on the outskirts of Portland, Oregon. Together with her clumsy classmate Curtis, she enters a world full of talking animals, magic and ancient powers. When the two come into a conflict that threatens the balance of the forest, Prue discovers an inner strength that she would never have known was in her. If she wants to save her brother and change Wildwood's fate, she'll have to risk everything.
