An epic tale of lost love and despair.
After his beloved falls for another, a heartbroken wayfarer wanders through a bleak winter landscape, depicted in some of Schubert’s most chillingly beautiful music.
Roderick Williams OBE, one of the UK’s most sought-after baritones, brings this masterpiece to life in a fully immersive, in the round concert, with the performers in the centre of the Hall and the audience surrounding.
Please note there are two performances of Winterreise: the 3pm performance will be sung in German, and the 6pm performance in English.
