Nunu is on the playground every Sunday at 4 pm. But there's no time to play. In fact, it is the handover from mom home to dad home and from dad home to mom home, mom to dad, mom dad, pa- ma-, ma- pa-... week after week. They often argue about the right clothes, sometimes about an appointment with an orthodontist. Nunu is in between.

Yella — self-proclaimed superwoman or fairy godmother — fortunately understands what it feels like to be somewhere new. And stepsister, no bonus brother Max knows how annoying the little half-sister, well, kind of bonus sister actually is.

As Nunu's eighth birthday is imminent, the question is: Celebrating with grandma and grandpa at dad's home or with homemade tomato sauce at mom's house? Nunu would prefer to remain seven — at least seven is not divisible by two.

Together, the children thoroughly mix up the rules of adulthood and make for a very special birthday party.
