They met in 2015 via the Internet. She has never been to Bialystok. He has never been to Jelenia Góra. They had one phone conversation. And they clicked a little in the chat. They never met in the real world. They wrote a book together.
Mariusz writes about Jelenia Góra in a new mythology created on the basis of images and excerpts from the Internet. Małgorzata is supposed to talk about Białystok, but her narrative still turns towards a small homeland: “On the other hand, I can't imagine how unstable life is when the horizon keeps shifting. The trip from Kotlina invariably ends with a cry for the resident: How flat here! Or at least with a sigh: How flat here... Anyway, I think we are all children of displaced people. Descendants of nomads. And at the same time, wherever we sit for a moment, we take root. We fall in love,” he writes.
Mariusz Szewczyk — craftsman, operator of digital machines. Interests: leaking roof on the garage, multiple, therefore trips to OLX, meetings with interesting people of the roof, several memberships in thematic groups. Education, like everything else, incomplete.
