FREE GROUP BUKOWINA

Wolna Grupa Bukowina - Polish musical group from the current of sung poetry was formed in the early 1970s. The Free Group Bukowina debuted in 1971 at the Tourist Song Exchange in Szklarska Poręba. At the concert we will definitely hear such timeless hits as Master of Poverty, Harasymowicz Landscapes, Sielanka o dom and many others. DUE TO THE ILLNESS OF ONE OF THE MUSICIANS, THE CONCERT WAS POSTPONED TO OCTOBER 23.

The band came from Busek - Zdrój and was founded by Wojciech Bellon, a high school student at the time. With Wojtek's song “Ponida” they sang one of the main awards. It had the formula of an open band, so many famous Polish performers and musicians performed with it. The core of the band was: Wojciech Bellon - creator of the lyrics of most songs, Grażyna Kulawik, Wojciech Jarociński and Wacław Juszczyszyn. In addition to its considerable phonographic achievements, the band has several award-winning performances in numerous Polish festivals, including the Festival of Polish Song in Opole, the Student Song Festival in Krakow, participation in the student festivals FAMA and a double performance for the audience of 150,000 at the Woodstock Station. The band has also made numerous foreign appearances in Europe as well as for Polonia in Canada, USA and Ireland.

For more than 52 years, the Free Group Bukowina has been touring in Poland with constant success, winning over new generations of loyal listeners. It has now become a permanent and significant phenomenon on the Polish music scene.
