Free Saturday in the Lower Town. Walk with Jacek Górski

Wake up and fast run to the Traffic kiosk. “Grandma, what's for breakfast?” Saturday, Drops, Old, New and Newest on TVP. “Hello, will Jack come out?” The game of hole, caps, pickaxes and other backyard fun. “Mamoooo — throw bread!” And then the question: “What is asked for Monday?”.

And when it was raining outside the window? I had to find a job, too. Tonight the Third Program Chart and Stereo Club for Two.

We invite you to a sentimental walk through the Lower Town, during which we will return together to everyday life, customs, places and memories of the old years.

The walk will be led by Jacek Górski — a resident of the Lower Town since birth, a Local Guide to the Lower Town and the president of the Association “Storytellers of the History of the Lower Town in Gdańsk”. For years, he has been collecting archives related to the district and telling its story from the perspective of a man who knows it inside out.

Come for a walk, reminisce and talk about what an ordinary Saturday was like in the Lower Town.
