Join us for a relaxed morning of activities to mark World AIDS Day. Explore how communities affected by HIV have built structures of care, connection and resistance. Here's what's on offer:
In addition, the 'Tenderness and Rage' exhibition is free and open all day.
Discover our new display on HIV and AIDS that brings together Gideon Mendel’s photographs and stories from activists worldwide to explore care, stigma and the fight for treatment.
Take part in an interactive workshop exploring activism and community through craft. The workshop is presented by Positive East, the east London HIV/STI and sexual health charity.
You'll add your sewn or embroidered contribution to one of three quilt panels made up of thousands of selfies from people around the world, celebrating the message Undetectable = Untransmittable (U=U).
Undetectable means that the level of HIV in the blood is so low it can't be detected by standard lab tests. The virus level is controlled by antiretroviral therapy (ART).
