In November 2025, the Polish premiere of Grand Horizons, a play by American playwright Bess Wohl, took place.

The uniqueness of this prestigious Tony Award-nominated play lies in masterfully combining the poignant, often painful theme of lost love, failed marriage, disappointed ambitions and inability to communicate, with a sparkling surprising form of storytelling full of empathy and acceptance for the imperfections of the characters.

The play begins with an ordinary, routine dinner of a married couple with fifty years of service, during which the wife suddenly announces to her husband that she wants a divorce.

This unexpected confession turns the lives of not only the spouses upside down, but also their two adult sons, who, abandoning their duties, rush to the aid of conflicting parents. Wanting to save what they once thought was a normal family, they begin to discover the truth about mom and dad, and these discoveries destroy their own world...
