The show is recommended for viewers over 13 years of age.
We are in Gdansk in 1945. The first Christmas since the end of the war is approaching. The city center, almost completely destroyed, resembles a sea of ruins, but life is revived on the outskirts.
It is here that the next waves of life castaways from different parts of Poland bring in to find a place for themselves in the new reality. In the hope that Gdansk will become their home, they are trying with all their might to survive the difficult post-war winter.
Gdańsk apartments, abandoned by recent German tenants, receive more repatriates, who buy the right to check in cold, deserted rooms for the remains of their belongings. Living together in such a small space must lead to inevitable tensions and conflicts. And one room may not accommodate them all...
The show contains scenes of violence.
The performance took part in the 31st National Competition for the Exhibition of Polish Contemporary Art.
