Among the dead silence | Splat! FilmFest

Gino returns to the family for a traditional Italian Christmas Eve. He expects an excess of food, noise and unsolicited advice, but not a visit from a grandmother who has been dead for years. The beloved senior woman returns as bloodthirsty zombies, and more dead relatives appear in the area. To survive the holidays, the family must put aside mutual grievances and face them together. “Among the Dead Silence” is a bloody comedy horror that turns a family reunion into an absurd fight for life. Living corpses retain their old habits, which makes it even more difficult to deal with them without sentiment. Dark humor and macabre meet Christmas warmth here - after all, even the most bloodthirsty zombies are still the beloved grandmother.
