shame

The dictionary of synonyms lists as many as 162 synonyms for the word “shame”, including: scandal, bite, dishonor, humiliation, compromise, shock, shame, embarrassment. All of them will be faced by the heroes of Marek Modzelewski's latest play “Shame”. But they're not the only ones. He will meet them and will also measure the viewer and - perhaps - recognize himself as in a mirror. Because art happens here and now, and its heroes live among us. They can be easily laughed at and judged harshly. But after all, it is worth remembering: “whoever of you is without sin, let him first throw a stone.”
