Everybody's talking about Jamie

First Polish production of “Everybody's Talking About Jamie”

This story really happened. 16-year-old Jamie, a student at a provincial English high school, at a career planning class announced that in the future he wanted to become a performer performing as a drag queen. Moreover, he is also going to go to the school ball in drag. Initially resisted by the school, Jamie was supported by family, friends, and eventually the community of the town. In 2011, a BBC documentary about Jamie was made, and six years later a musical based on his story premiered in the West End.

We invite you to a performance about breaking barriers and fighting for dreams; for one of the best British musicals of recent years, with songs in the style of modern pop. The cast selected in the casting included stars of the Polish musical and one of the most famous Polish drag queens, known from the stage as Twoja Stara.
