“All directions of wandering” with Katarzyna Zahorska | curatorial tour

We invite you to a curatorial tour of the exhibition “All directions of wandering. Works from the collection of the Lower Silesian Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts.” — on Thursday, October 15 at 18:00 at the Wrocław Contemporary Museum.

During the meeting, curator Katarzyna Zahorska will present works from the DTZSP collection and talk about how art captures contemporary transformations, tensions and problems.

We will examine, among others, civilizational, social and cultural problems and their influence on the condition of modern man. It is also an opportunity to get to know the collection of Lower Silesian Zachęta, built since 2004 — an extremely sensitive record of a changing reality.

The exhibition presents works by Adam Abel, Jan Jaromir Aleksiun, Olaf Brzeski, Anna Bujak, Wojciech Doroszuk, Miłosz Flis, Maciej Kasperski, Stanisław Kortyka, Piotr C. Katarzyna Zahorska — a graduate of history and art history at the University of Wrocław. She cooperated with O.pl Polski Portal Kultury, Rita Baum, Rynek i Sztuka. He regularly publishes in the Odra monthly and in the art magazine Format. She currently works as a curator and organizer of exhibitions at the City Gallery in Wrocław.
