The plot of the film focuses on the motive of the search for a missing actor who did not appear on the set at the time of the film's production. Ela — the actor's wife — and Beata — the director's wife and the actor's former love — are trying to find him. During the search, the team receives news that he was killed by jumping out of a speeding train. To finish the film, the director engages a friend of the deceased, Daniel, who, despite hesitation and resistance, decides to play. As a result, he abandons the shooting plan.
The film is not only a tribute to the great legend of Polish cinema — Zbigniew Cybulski, but also an exquisitely captured collective portrait of a film environment in which everything is for sale, because everything can be used as material for a new film.

“There is no film without a cinematographer,” Vilmos Zsigmond once said, an eminent cinematographer (as they say today: cinematographer). You can imagine a movie without scenery, music, actors, and therefore without costumes, ba! Even filmed without a director. But someone has to make the image be recorded with a camera. That person is the operator. Of course, its function has not been to press a button on the camera for a long time. This profession, although it has long been treated as a field exclusively of technology and craft, has for years been considered to be largely creative and artistic. Because cinema is mainly visual art, the cinematographer is considered to be one of the director's closest partners in creating screen worlds.
The lectures before the films will be given and discussions after the screenings will be led by Andrzej Bukowiecki.
Preparation of the review programme: Lidia Mikulska-Pawłowska, Andrzej Bukowiecki
