Everything about women was written by Miro Gavran, thinking about the scene. His comedy belongs to the trend of these well-cut, with suspense worthy of a thriller, witty dialogue and characters close to the present. The story of fifteen women of different ages is a kind of study of female nature, described by the male eye and hand. The most important element of the Croatian playwright's art is the emotions conveyed in a simple but interesting way.
As Piotr Bikont says, the performance was created primarily “to the delight and slight emotion of the spectator”. In the production of the comedy, the director focuses on a form that, in his opinion, “despite its complexity is not easy to decipher, it gives the viewer a certain additional satisfaction of intellectual action that goes beyond the understanding of these simple and banal stories”.
Miro Gavran — the most outstanding contemporary Croatian writer, winner of the prestigious “Central European Time” award for the best playwright of Central Europe. Author of dramas (Antigone Creon, Shakespeare and Elizabeth, My Wife's Husband), adult and youth novels, film scripts and radio listeners.
