● Dates: 30.10 | Friday ● 17:00 — 19:00 ● Registration: Nikodem Krysztofowicz | n.krysztofowicz@gcsw.pl ● Host: Marcjanna Sokołowska ● Age category: 18+ (adults with children are welcome) ● Strajku Dokerów Street 5, Nowy Port
In the workshop we will talk about who the secondary holipworms are, what are the problems of birds in cities and how they can be helped on a small scale. We will learn how to create nesting boxes in which urban birds will want to live and in which places to hang them so that it is safe for them. During the practical part, we will learn how to create sawdust concrete and we will make nesting boxes from it, which, after drying, can be collected and installed in the next breeding season. You don't have to have experience — a guide will guide you through the entire process. The workshop is aimed at adults. Parents who wish to attend the workshop can be accompanied by their children.

✺ Marcjanna Sokołowska — a visual artist whose practice stems from fashion and work with fabric; she uses these experiences to create objects, installations and sculptural forms designed to be worn on the body. He works mainly with biomaterials and second-cycle items, often blurring the boundaries between organic and synthetic. She is co-curator of the Fashion Leak project, which reinterprets the form of the fashion show, combining visual art and fashion into one integrated experience.
