Chekhov still sounds current. The heroes of “Uncle Wana” ask the questions that each of us asks ourselves today: about the meaning of life, about old choices, about the right to happiness and love. Their quarrels, once perhaps seeming romantic and distant, today become painfully close. The world around us is crumbling, values are devalued, and we, like them, postpone life “for later”. It's a show about what happens when it doesn't come anymore.
* Performance for viewers 16+
