Eric, a clever swindler and trickster, ends up in a stately English mansion of eccentric aristocrats. Preparations for the wedding are underway - the elder daughter of the master of the house is marrying a greedy cousin. Preparations for the wedding and family intrigues become the background of the awakening feelings of Eric and the younger daughter of the owners of the manor. However, when a mysterious murder occurs on the estate, love recedes into the background. The main thing is to find the culprit.
A light comedy full of absurd British humor, which gracefully parodies costume cinema and detective stories in the style of Agatha Christie.
