WYATT E. + FIVE THE HIEROPHANT

Place: Gdansk, Drizzly Grizzly, 4 Elektryków Street

Founded in 2015 by Stéphane Rondia and Sébastien von Landau, the Belgian duo redefines doom metal by focusing on intimacy and breaking patterns. After a well-received debut EP, the breakthrough was the album “Exile to Beyn Neharot” (2017). This album fully revealed their unique style — dark, demonic drones combined with the weight of classic doom. This album and intensive tours provided the band with great recognition in the musical niche.

London collective Five The Hierophant has been mesmerizing listeners with its dark sound for a decade. Their latest album, “Apeiron”, is the essence of an elaborate style - a fluid and mature fusion of doom, drone, jazz and post-metal. This ritualistic, sonic journey takes on a unique character thanks to Jon Roffey's mesmerizing saxophone parts.
