Briefly about the concert:

The concert “NieObecni” is a unique musical event, which is dedicated to the great deceased artists — composers. “Start with Bach”, “Alley of Stars” or “Still in the Green Grams” are wonderful achievements of Polish song, which we will hear during the concert. The artist Gaba Janusz wanted to pay tribute to the deceased musicians and capture the magic of their work in a modern light by recording the album entitled “NieObecni”. The artistic diversity and originality of the interpretations that will sound during the performance reveal the unique influence of these immortal talents on contemporary music. We will hear works by Zbigniew Wodecki, Romuald Lipko, Tomasz Stańko, Krzysztof Komeda or Jerzy Dudus Matuszkiewicz — all arranged by Michał Ciesielski. This concert is a perfect opportunity to indulge in the nostalgia that accompanies us all during the suffocating time. They will play:

Michał Ciesielski — piano, arrangements

Paul Rutschka — bass
