LECTURE: The relationship of art with nature

BWA Olsztyn cordially invites you to the meeting of the series “Wednesday for seniors”, which will take place on October 28 (Wednesday) at 17:30 at the temporary headquarters of BWA in Hala Urania — Al. Marsz. J. Piłsudskiego 44 (entrance B1 | conference room).

“Wednesday for seniors” is a proposal dedicated to older people who want to expand their knowledge in the field of culture and art. The program of meetings includes thematic lectures deepened by discussion with the participants.

Trees, light and the elements have been featured in art for centuries. But artists do not just depict them, sometimes imitate nature, process it, use its materials and even allow it to “create” the work itself. During the lecture we will discover the extraordinary ways in which nature has become part of art and how artists today are inspired by it, a perfect example of which is the work of Natalia Kopytko.

The lecture will be conducted by: Monika Sadowska
