Imagination

Journey to a world full of possibilities

What happens when the WORDS we know are cut and the IMAGES are broken into tiny pieces? What if it turns out that one of the most important things in the world... just disappears? Two extraordinary heroes will try to answer these and many other questions: WORD — full of energy and ideas and IMAGE — a master of visual art. With their creativity, humor and determination, they will show how great power lies in the imagination...

The show “Imagination” encourages creative thinking, showing how many possibilities lie in simple ideas and unrestrained fun. It teaches that boundaries exist only in our heads, and that any idea — even the craziest — can become the beginning of something beautiful and unique.

Directed by Julia Szmyt, an artist known for creating magical and innovative shows for children, it is a story full of fun, movement and visual surprises. Unique scenography and the interaction between word and gesture will draw the youngest viewers into a fascinating journey through the land of fantasy.

In short: the magic of childhood, humor, through play for reflection, family performance, art theater

The play takes part in the project “Teatr Polska”. Teatr Polska is a program organized since 2009 by the Zbigniew Raszewski Theatre Institute. Every year, more than a dozen of the best performances go on a nationwide tour of the houses of culture in places where there is no institutional theater. The aim of the program is to popularize theatrical art and eliminate economic barriers to access the theater. More information: www.teatpolska.pl and www.facebook.com/TeatrPolska
