Mickiewicz became a vampire and lived at Zbawiciela Square
The performance is based on the novel by Grzegorz Uzdański, nominated for Passports “Polityka” and written mostly with thirteen speakers. The hero is Adam Mickiewicz himself — not as a national poet from monuments, but as a vampire who came to live in modern Warsaw! In the trendy area of Zbawiciela Square, Mickiewicz's roommates are Marta and Łukasz, a couple experiencing a relationship crisis. During the day, the Vampire hides in a closet from the deadly sun, and at night he steals blood from the hospital dump. Does the leading creator of Polish romanticism still have the power to save the relationship of metropolitan 30-year-olds?
