XII Night of Libraries

On the occasion of the 12th Night of Libraries under the slogan: “The library (is) checking” we invite children to a number of attractions:

17:00-18:00 — a theatrical performance by Teatr Duet entitled “Goat Pacanołek” — the main theme of the fairy tale is a journey through the world of a nice goat who goes through a lot of adventures (visit to the zoo, to the fire station, to Africa, flight in a balloon) and meets a huge number of interesting characters with whom he makes friends. The fairy tale shows how interesting and informative it can be to travel. During the performance, we will talk about safety during expeditions, and when Koziołek reaches the fire station, the children will learn about the proper conduct during a fire hazard and even perform some fitness exercises.

18:00-18:30 — workshops with pediatrician Martyna Szumała-Jakubowska, during which children acquire knowledge about the most important organs in the human body, where they are located, how they look and what they are for and how we can examine them during a visit to the doctor's office. The doctor will also answer all the questions that bother children related to the work of the doctor.

Martyna Szumała- Jakubowska — a graduate of the medical faculty of the Medical University of Gdańsk, graduated in 2015. Since then she has been working in the Department of Internal Medicine of the St. Vincent a Paul Hospital in Gdynia.

18:30-20:00 healthy culinary workshops with Mrs. Honorata.

Children aged 5-11 years are welcome.

Children under 7 years of age under the care of an adult.
