XXI Artistic Review of People with Disabilities in KOK

Art knows no barriers. XXI Artistic Review of People with Disabilities in KOK Art has many languages. Sometimes he tells with movement, sometimes with sound, and sometimes the mere presence on stage is enough to convey more than words. On October 13, 2026, at 10:00am, the XXI Artistic Review of Persons with Disabilities will take place at the Kościański Cultural Center - an event that for years has created a space for presenting talents, developing passions and meetings, in which openness to other people is the most important.

The review organized by the District Environmental Self-Help House in Kościan and the Kościan Association “We Are Among You” is not only an opportunity to present artistic skills, but also an important element of integration and activity of people with disabilities. Its long history shows the importance of initiatives that allow you to express yourself, build relationships and be part of local cultural life.

The KOK stage will feature bands from different parts of Wielkopolska. The audience will be able to see dance performances and listen to music prepared by artists who share commitment, sensitivity and joy of creation. Each performance will be an opportunity to share your own view of the world, as well as the result of work, regular exercises and joint preparation of artistic presentations.

The review also has a therapeutic dimension. Artistic activity helps to develop independence, strengthen self-confidence, discover one's own possibilities and derive satisfaction from the challenges undertaken. The stage becomes a place where you can show your skills, experience appreciation and feel that your own work matters. Equally important is the opportunity to meet others, exchange experiences and build bonds that go beyond the framework of the event itself.

The 21st edition of the Review is also a return to the idea that has guided this meeting from the beginning - creating a culture that is accessible, open and close to everyone

It is a reminder that artistic expression does not require specific conditions or skills, and the diversity of ways of expressing oneself enriches shared experiences.

The Kościańska Cultural Centre is very pleased to once again participate in this unique project and support the organizers in the preparations for the Review. Traditionally, we already engage in initiatives that promote inclusion, openness and accessibility of culture, believing that everyone should have space to develop their passions and showcase their talents.
