Yard Act

Yard Act are returning to Germany for three shows with their third album!

Catchy, socio-critical, political: Yard Act combine numerous qualities in their unique sound, which clearly stands out from the post-punk bands of our time thanks to the spoken-word lyrics of their frontman James Smith!

Launched as a project by four pub friends shortly before the pandemic, against all odds, Yard Act soon established themselves outside the borders of their English homeland: At the Reeperbahn Festival, they won the ANCHOR Award in 2021, after which the four musicians from Leeds first released their debut album and their second work two years later. Both LPs are critically acclaimed worldwide and have given Yard Act a collaboration with pop legend Elton John, a place on the BBC's “One to Watch” list, a support tour with The Hives and headline shows across the globe.

Yard Act immediately sweep along live: fast dance beats paired with fat riffs and razor-sharp vocal interludes. Anyone who wants to be infected by the playful post-punk of the Nordengländer will finally have the chance to do so again in October 2026!
