Yoga at Glyptoteket is for anyone who wants to immerse themselves and work with the body and breath. No previous yoga experience is required, and you decide how you want to participate.

“... I imagine that the greenery in winter can draw people in here, and when they look at the palm trees, a thought also falls to the statues,” Carl Jacobsen, the museum's founder, said at the museum's inauguration.

These days, if possible, there is even more need for calm and contemplation. Therefore, you can now go for yoga in the banquet hall, where, surrounded by antique statues, you can take a well-deserved break.

And who knows, when you're done with yoga, you might have renewed excess to cast a glance at some of the sculptures?

The ticket gives access to the Glyptotek throughout the day, where you can enjoy the tranquility and explore special exhibits and collections full of bodies.

Educator Joséphine Renard has been practicing yoga for over twenty years, teaching since 2014. Her approach is that yoga can be adapted to the individual, regardless of experience, body or mobility. She emphasizes creating a safe space where there is room to be in the body and where you can sense it through movement and breathing. You can read more about Joséphine at www.renard.nu

Come in good time so that you can manage to lock your belongings in the wardrobe.

There are yoga mats on loan in the Banquet Hall, so all you have to do is show up in comfortable clothes to move around in.

You are welcome to bring a water bottle if it is transparent and of max. 0,5 l. If you do not have one, there will be water in the banquet hall.

Please note that it is not allowed to bring your own yoga mat and there are no changing facilities at the museum.

The ticket provides access to the museum throughout the day.
Tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, but may be passed on.

It may be worth upgrading your ticket to an annual pass! If you are not already an annual card holder, you have the opportunity to buy an annual pass with a discount equivalent to a regular entrance ticket if you go to the ticket sales on the evening itself and show your event ticket. If you are considering this, we recommend that you do it before the event starts to avoid waiting times afterwards.
