Europe! It's really happening. It's happening at the same time. It happens too loudly, too fast, too spiritually: Youth Of Today and Shelter go on tour together — a circle closes and explodes in the same breath. Two names, one story — and now a tour: Youth Of Today and Shelter are coming to Europe as part of the “Euro Dates Fall '26” and are playing several shows in Germany. Youth Of Today laid the foundation for the New York straight-edge scene in the mid-80s: uncompromising, political, influential. Singer Ray Cappo and guitarist John Porcell shaped an entire generation with albums such as Break Down The Walls — until Cappo stopped everything in 1988, went to India and reoriented himself spiritually. The return: Shelter. Hardcore meets Hare Krishna, anger becomes attitude. With changing line-up, stylistic breaks and the classic mantra, the band developed into an independent figure. In 2025, the album will celebrate its 30th anniversary. Now both chapters are touring together: the raw energy of Youth Of Today and the melodic spiritual approach of Shelter. Not a nostalgic show, but a piece of hardcore history — live and direct.
