From the album of Polish composers: Witold Lutosławski

Meetings with Music at the National Philharmonic 2026/2027 — preschool groups (children from 5 years old) and grades I—III of primary school

As a master of big and small form, Witold Lutosławski is ranked among the most outstanding composers of the 20th century. The program for younger listeners will be filled with his songs full of humor, funny stories and strange characters, and instrumental music — sometimes mysterious, other times surprising — composed especially for children. Young people will learn about the wide range of compositional techniques that Lutosławski used, inspiring creators all over the world. We will also move to the 50s, when he wrote songs under the pseudonym Derwid.

Only pre-school groups (from the age of 5) and from primary schools are invited to concerts from the series Meetings with Music at the National Philharmonic.
We will inform you about the possibility of booking tickets for the concert on May 17, 2027 at a later date.
