With Barańczak on the way. Exhibition opening

In the year dedicated to Stanisław Barańczak, we invite you to an exhibition about a Poznan translator and poet. It consists (in the showcases in front of the Art Branch) family memorabilia — photographs, letters, documents and correspondence between the author and the publishing house “On the Road”, which published the first translations of Shakespeare's plays by Barańczak.

Professor Edward Balcerzan will talk about Stanisław Barańczak and his work at the vernissage, Daniela Popławska will read the poet's poems, and the exhibition will be presented by Emilia Kiereś, the poet's niece.
