Bartłomiej Nizioł was born in 1974 in Szczecin. He started playing the violin at the age of 5. He graduated with honors from the Academy of Music in Poznań in the class of Prof. Jadwiga Kaliszewska, and then continued his studies with Professor Pierre Amoyal at the Conservatoire de Lausanne. He is the winner of first prizes in prestigious violin competitions, including the International H. Wieniawski Competition in Poznań (1991), the Eurovision Competition in Brussels and competitions in Adelaide, Pretoria and Paris. He has been touring around the world for nearly four decades, performing both as a soloist and chamber musician. He has been living in Switzerland since 1995. He was concertmaster of the Tonhalle Orchestra in Zurich (1997—2003), and since 2003 he has held this position with the Zurich Opera Orchestra (Opernhaus Zürich). Since 2008 he has been a professor at the Hochschule der Künste Bern. He sat on the jury of the most important violin competitions, including the H. Wieniawski Competition, the T. Wroński Competition for solo violin, the Paganini Prize in Genoa and the Karol Szymanowski Competition in Katowice. He also serves as Vice President of the Henryk Wieniawski Music Society. He is the winner of five Fryderyk Awards for recordings of works by Henryk Wieniawski, Grażyna Bacewicz, Eugène Ysaÿe, Karol Lipiński and Karol Szymanowski. In 2015 he received the prestigious Echo Klassik Award for an album recorded with Spyros Piano Trio. The artist has over 20 albums. Soon his latest album will be released, on which, together with the Wrocław Baroque Orchestra, he made the first recording of all Felix Janiewicz's violin concertos. Bartłomiej Nizioł is an honorary ambassador of Szczecin and a laureate of the award of the Mayor of the City of Poznań.
He plays the violin of Guarneri del Gesù from 1727.
Łukasz Kuropaczewski — born in 1981 in Gniezno, lived in Strzalkowo. He started learning guitar at the age of 10 in Słupca and Konin. He graduated from the Academy of Music in Wrocław in the class of Prof. Piotr Zaleski. In 2003, he began his studies in the class of Maestro Manuel Barrueco at the Peabody Conservatory of the Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, USA, which he graduated in 2008. He has performed recitals in Poland, Russia, Belarus, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Germany, France, England, Spain, Iceland, Hungary, Serbia, Kosovo, Greece, Canary Islands, Japan, China, Canada, USA, Mexico and Panama. He has performed in the most important concert halls of the world: the Royal Festival Hall in London, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the P. Tchaikovsky Hall in Moscow and the Carnegie Hall in New York. He often performs as a chamber musician — including with Orion String Quartet (USA), Avim Avital (Israel), Chen Reiss (Israel), Richard Galliano (France). Kuropaczewski is a renowned guitar teacher. He conducts courses and master classes at many guitar festivals in Europe and at universities in Europe and the Americas. In the years 2007-2010 he was a lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, since 2008 he has been a lecturer at the Academy of Music in Poznań (as professor of AMP), and in 2018 he won a competition for professorship at the Kunstuniversitet in Graz, Austria, where he currently works as a professor. He has recorded five compact discs. The last three (“Polish Music”, “Aqua e Vinho” and “Nocturnal”) received nominations for the Fryderyk Award in the categories: Most Outstanding Album - Polish Music, Most Outstanding Album - Chamber Music, Most Outstanding Album - Solo Recital. Kuropaczewski has made many Polish and world premieres of such composers as: A. Tansman (Hommage a de Falla - with the Amadeus orchestra in 2010 in Lodz, Petit Concerto in 2015 in Poznań), K. Meyer (Concerto - with the Amadeus orchestra in 2010 in Gniezno and Poznań, Triptych Sonata in 2015 - Caramoor Festival in New York, USA), A. Gilardino (Jerusalem Concerto, with A. Avital in 2014 in Gniezno and Poznań), M. Neikrug (Acequias Quintet with Orion String Quartet in 2015 during the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival in Santa Fe, USA), Mikołaj Górecki (Arioso e Furioso - with the Aukso orchestra in 2014 during the Slaska Guitar Autumn in Tychy). In recent artistic seasons, the artist has performed in Poland, Russia, Germany, Belgium, Croatia, USA, Canada, Mexico, Panama, Puerto Rico, Kosovo, and China. He premiered the world's compositions by A. Gilardino (Letters to Fryderyk Sonata) and M. Neikruga (Three Pieces for Guitar), as well as the guitar version of K. Penderecki's Alto Concerto with the Sinfonia Varsovia Orchestra under the baton of Maximiano Valdes and with the Orquesta Sinfonica de Santiago in Chile. Together with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Marin Alsop, he performed the famous Concierto de Aranjuez J. Rodrigo.
Hyuk Lee — born January 4, 2000, was educated at the Moscow Conservatory in the piano class of Vladimir Ovchinnikov, and then at the École normale de Musique in Paris. He is a laureate of the 1st prize at the Ignacy Jan Paderewski international piano competitions in Bydgoszcz (2016) and Marguerite Long and Jacques Thibaud in Paris (2022) and the 3rd prize in Hamamatsu (2018), as well as a finalist of the Chopin Competition (2021). He has performed in such prestigious concert halls as the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées and Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, the National Opera in Warsaw, the Rudolfinum in Prague and the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires. The artist also plays the violin and chess.
