Imagine a house where the floor creaks to the beat of the music, notes written down from the table every now and then, and a contagious laugh comes from behind the closed door. This is what Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's bustling studio looked like. We invite you to a unique family visit, during which instead of seeing the exhibits, we will indulge in pure fun with sound. You will see that the classics can speak the language of imagination, uniting generations in a common experience.

About the event

Imagine a house where the floor creaks to the beat of the music, notes written down from the table every now and then, and a contagious laugh comes from behind the closed door. This is what Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's bustling studio looked like. We invite you to a unique family visit, during which instead of seeing the exhibits, we will indulge in pure fun with sound. You will see that the classics can speak the language of imagination, uniting generations in a common experience.

Mozart with equal freedom wrote music for dance, created intimate masterpieces and played with simple melodies, proving that even the shortest sound topic can become the beginning of a fascinating adventure. One of the best examples of this is the variations based on the melody, which in Poland we know as Wyszły w pole kurki trois. A few sounds are enough for the composer to create music full of surprises, wit and virtuoso fantasy.

In turn, Five Contradances will open the door to the world of courtly, albeit jumping dances, and in the Clarinet Quintet in A major we will listen to a conversation between a clarinet and a string quartet, in which every voice matters. There will also be one of the most popular compositions of the master, the energetic Turkish March.

A visit to Mozart will therefore not be a lesson in the history of music, but rather a meeting with a composer whose work to this day preserves something of the childhood curiosity of the world. And perhaps that is why it is so easy for both the youngest and those who return to it for many years to find themselves in it.
