A Greek father and his son from Poland (half-Greek), both at a turning point in life, meet after years in Athens to sell their family apartment in Wałbrzych after the death of their ex-wife and mother. Though they share a common loss, they share temperaments, languages and unspoken grievances, which are often disarmed by unexpected humor, irony and rough male tenderness. Forced by circumstances, they make a joint journey through the old Polonaise to Poland, following the traces of the escape of the Greeks before the civil war in 1949. Traveling through Europe, in the shadow of modern migrations, they try to make up for lost time, learning to be together anew: sometimes awkwardly, sometimes funny, more often painfully. For his son, it is a belated lesson in male courage and the history of Greek emigration to Poland, for his father - a lesson in responsibility, humility and closeness that he has never been able to afford before.
