Jazz Chokers

We invite you to a unique musical evening dedicated to the memory of outstanding artists of the Polish and world music scene. Zaduszki Jazz will be an encounter with music that, despite the passing of the years, still remains alive, inspiring and close to the next generations of listeners.

The concert will feature works by such artists as Andrzej Zaucha, Zbigniew Wodecki or Frank Sinatra, as well as compositions by other outstanding vocal and instrumental music creators. In jazz arrangements, we will recall melodies that have been permanently inscribed in the history of Polish and world musical culture.

Students and graduates of the Faculty of Music of the University of Rzeszów will perform on the stage — young, active musicians who are united by a passion for music, stage experience and the search for their own sound. Their interpretations will be a combination of respect for original compositions with jazz freedom, improvisation and a fresh look at well-known works.
