About the event

Autumn brings with it a unique time of reflection and reflection — a time when we remember those who have passed away, but whose spirit and music remain with us. In such an atmosphere, we invite you to the Jazz Zaduszki, a concert that has become a beautiful tradition and one of the most atmospheric events on our calendar.

It is an evening in which jazz — full of emotion, improvisation and melancholy — is intertwined with the memory of artists who have made their mark on the history of the Polish and world music scene. During the concert we pay tribute to those who are no longer with us, for example: Dolly Parton, Stanisław Soyka, Michał Urbaniak, Ozzy Osbourne, Wojciech Morawski and others. Artists who inspire generations to come.

Jazz Zaduszki, however, is not only a memory — it is also a music festival that will delight both seasoned jazz lovers and those who are just discovering the magic of music. The intimate atmosphere, the warm light, the sounds of instruments — all this will make this evening a unique experience, full of emotion, reflection and musical closeness.

The concert will be attended by both artists of the Variete Muza Theater and invited guests, among others from the Netherlands Olga Demydchuk, taking care of the high level of performance.

Olga Demydchuk — singer Olga Demydchuk is a young singer who is particularly interested in jazz and vocal music. As a first-year student at the Prins Claus Conservatorium in Groningen, she develops her voice and her own musical identity. Together with her sister Helena, she performed at the Comblain Jazz Festival 2026 in Belgium, presenting herself as a young jazz singer. Thanks to musical curiosity and passion for singing, Olga consistently develops her skills and artistic personality.

The concert was prepared by Jarosław Barów - Polish composer, arranger and pianist associated with the Polish Horse Cabaret. A graduate of the Academy of Music in Gdańsk. Musical director of many television productions (including Pineapples from Our Class, Marian and Hela, Fabryka Śmiechu, Kabaret Festival in Koszalin). Creator of the musical “Paradise”. For many years he has collaborated with the biggest stars of Polish music: Justyna Steczkowska, Andrzej Piaseczny, Katarzyna Cerekwicka, Krzysztof Cugowski, Beata Kozidrak, Sławek Uniatowski, Katarzyna Kowalska, Kuba Badach, Kasia Moś Ania Dąbrowska and many others. He conducts concerts with the participation of a 100-piece orchestra and a 50-piece choir, as well as music and dance performances.

Come and let fall jazz tell you its story — of life, love and memory that lasts in the sounds.
