ENCHANTING SNAKES ON HOT EVENINGS

Based on the award-winning, daring and extremely erotic prose by Małgorzata Żarov, the show reveals spaces that are usually hidden — digital spaces where the body becomes a commodity, and urban spaces where loneliness becomes particularly acute.
The heroine, a woman working as a CamGirl, leads us through rented apartments, staircases, streets and stops of night communication. On his way, he meets Ramona — an amateur fortune teller, Stefan — a porn actor, and Magda — a friend from the old days.
Warsaw becomes here not a background, but a full-fledged participant in the story — a city that can hide anonymity and at the same time painfully expose it.
It is a story about intimacy exposed to the gaze of others, about the need to be noticed and the struggle for one's own subjectivity. “The Enchantment of Snakes on Hot Evenings” is a story in which desires and needs collide with expectations — brutal and real.

The book on which the play was based received the Gdynia 2023 Literary Award, and was also nominated for the Warsaw Literary Award, the Conrad Prize, the Nike Literary Award and the Premio Grand Continent.

The show features nudity, elements of sexual violence, scenes of an erotic nature, sexual content, as well as flashing lights, smoke, dynamic animations that can cause discomfort or eye strain, and loud sound effects.
