Dabrowska/Januszkiewicz in love

Two artists and one story told through songs: “In Love” is a concert about relationships, closeness and the maturation of feelings — built around Szpilman's famous work. Marcin Januszkiewicz and Katarzyna Dąbrowska will perform in duet and solo in arrangements that leave room for emotions and real contact with the audience.

The concert grew out of a single stage meeting and a song. The starting point is the song “In Love” (muz. Władysław Szpilman, b. Bronisław Brok) — it was she who artistically united Katarzyna Dąbrowska and Marcin Januszkiewicz, who performed it together for the first time in 2011 during the gala “Szpilmania — no one will give up those years”. Today they return to this tune to talk about relationships, closeness and maturation—in music and love.

The program builds a coherent story, in which duet interpretations are interspersed with solo parts. Together we will hear “Lovers”, “Rain”, “Someone Among Us”, as well as lighter accents such as “Bad Behavior” or “All Creatures Small and Large”.
