Zakopower XX MIUOSH

Zakopower celebrates its 20th anniversary, and on this occasion Sebastian Karpiel-Bułecka and Miuosh join forces in a unique project “Zakopower XX MIUOSH”. Its basis is a common fascination with folklore and folk music - present both in Zakopower's work, firmly rooted in the Podhale tradition, and in Miuosha's artistic projects.

Miuosh picked up some of Zakopower's songs and prepared their new arrangements and production. Thanks to this, the project brings out even more strongly what constitutes one of the foundations of the band's music - folk roots, highlander tradition and the characteristic sound of Podhale. Well-known works take on a new form, while maintaining their connection with the musical heritage of the region.

Sebastian Karpiel-Bułecka will appear on stage with the band Zakopower in an extended lineup, accompanied by Miuosh and his electronic instrumentation. The combination of highlander inspirations with modern production will allow us to look at Zakopower's achievements from a new perspective and show how tradition can coexist with the contemporary musical language.
