Forgotten Place | Splat! FilmFest

A pair of online creators end up in an abandoned hospital, where it very quickly turns out that they are not alone. “A Forgotten Place” is a powerful found footage horror that makes great use of dark corridors, camera footage of the protagonists and a growing sense of encirclement to build sky-high tension. Anxiety appears here from the first scenes and does not let go until the finale. It's a horror that's glamorous, but not effacing — disturbing, suffocating, and truly terrifying. An ideal proposal for fans of found footage and horror cinema, which instead of cheap tricks focuses on the atmosphere.
