“Ember” by Christopher Hampton is an adaptation of the novel by the Hungarian writer - Sándor Márai. It was first staged on February 15, 2006 at London's Duke of York's Theatre, winning acclaim for its timeless subject matter and masterful construction of dialogue. The play was translated into Polish by Elżbieta Woźniak. The premiere took place on September 20, 2025 at Teatro Polonia.
