About the event
We invite you to a free workshop on programming and electronics “Traffic rules in practice” for children and adolescents. Children under the age of 12 can attend workshops under the supervision of a parent/guardian. We invite you to participate in educational workshops for children and young people, which aim to increase awareness in the field of road safety through practical learning. The workshop participants will independently design and build a model of a road junction equipped with traffic lights and a railway crossing with horns, controlled by BBC micro:bit microcontrollers. During the classes participants will learn the rules of safe movement on roads, learn the meaning of traffic lights, understand the operation of railway crossings, acquire basic programming and electronics skills, create a working model of road infrastructure.
