STOP TIME - concert of the band UNIVERSE

The Universe team returns after 18 years with a new album “Stop Time”, which was released in June 2026. The album features 18 new tracks, including the popular singles “She Waits, She Knows” and “The Girl with Green Eyes”. The album coincided with the band's return to Opole as part of the 63rd Festival of Polish Song and the jubilee concert dedicated to the work of Bogdan Olewicz.

During the concert, the band will present material from the new release, as well as timeless hits and festive touches.

The band UNIVERSE is a legend of Polish pop music, continuously present on the domestic stages for more than 40 years. Universe currently consists of six musicians — the leader of the band is Henryk Czich, who sings and plays keyboards. He is supported vocally by Wojtek Wesołek, who also plays guitar, as does Damian Filipowski. Marek Kopecki is a bass player and Marek Jagucki plays keyboards. The drums are performed by Grzesiek Krzykawski. The great asset of the group is the great sound, developed over the years of playing together, and great hits, composed by Mirek Breguła and Henryk Czich. Perfectly known to the public, they are an opportunity to sing together and have fun.

The evening with the Universe Team will begin with a conversation with Tomasz Cukiernik, author of the first biography of Mirek Breguła, the legendary co-founder and leader of the Universe team.

Purchase of the book “Mirek. Poet of Souls. Biography of the leader of the band Universe” and obtaining the author's autograph will be possible before and after the concert.
