“Crime and Punishment”

The play, based on the famous novel by Fyodor Dostoevsky, is a moving story about morality, guilt and redemption. In the center of events is Rodion Raskolnikov - a young student who commits a crime, believing that he is doing it in the name of higher ideas. However, after committing the murder, he gradually plunges into inner anguish and paranoia, which leads him to confront his own conscience and the world.

The director brings the classic Russian narrative into the theatrical space, building a dense psychological drama. Sparing scenography, symbolic light and expressive acting enhance the sultry atmosphere of St. Petersburg — a city that becomes a silent witness to the hero's spiritual transformation.

It is not only a story about murder, but a profound reflection on humanity, fate and responsibility. “Crime and Punishment” in this staging is intense, emotional and extremely timely theater.
